"Pour The Floor"
We are ready for phase phase five of our 7 phase program.
Our vision is to provide facilities to enrich our community and band together for multi-purposes.
In 2023 the old community centre and library had major structural damage when the earth under both structures caved in. There was no money or organization to save the buildings. Consejo Shores Community Group (CSCG) was incorporated and plans were put in to place to convert the old library into a community office and move the library into the old community centre. Consejo Shores Limited put the money into restoring the new office and library. CSCG commited to raising the funds to complete another, larger structure that was started 20 years ago and also compromised. A huge undertaking, but we have faith in our amazing community that has always come together to improve our facilities.
We have raised enough money since the beginning of 2024 for:
Phase 1 - Restore the walls and lintels, preserve the current state of the building to prevent any further decay.
Phase 2 - Restore the centre columns and build new ring beams, install a concrete framework for the pergola
Phase 3 - Prime the walls and paint to seal them and preserve our efforts.
Phase 4 - Install the steel perlins and a lifelong metal roof.
We now require the funds to:
Phase 5 - "Pour The Floor". $10,000 US will get our floor with conduit for electrical.
Phase 6 - Will require $3,500 US for windows
Phase 7 - $6,000 US for a kitchen and bathrooms with plumbing.
How you can HELP!!
If we can just have ten people ask ten people for $100 US donation, we will have enough to "Pour The Floor"!! At that point the structure will be useable to host events.
